Myotonic Goats

We raise myotonic (fainting) goats. Fainting goats are technically a meat breed but make great pets! Every spring we sell some babies. We will take deposits on a first come first serve basis. The babies will be ready to go to their new home once they are weaned at about 8 weeks of age.

We will have 2 groups of baby goats born again this year. The first ones will be born the beginning of May and the rest will be born mid-late August.

Our billy goat, Deer Bob

Deer Bob is a high level fainter. He faints very easily and we have noticed that all the kids do as well!

Fredritta - Our first baby born at our place

Our billy goat and does are pictured below.

Sparty- She is Fredritta’s daughter and was born during an MSU basketball game!

Rita- Also a daughter of Fredritta. She is naturally polled- she does not grow horns.

Peppy- She is the daughter of Pepper. Peppy is 3/4 Myotonic and 1/4 Boer. She is also polled.
